AL BARAKA HEADQUARTERS

The Al Baraka Turk general head office building is located in Umraniye, a growing business district in the Istanbul region. The building is one of the largest class-A office park projects in Turkey. The most interesting part of the building is where the intersection of 2 arcs creates a surface that carries the steel-glass ellipsoid. All the glass parts were custom-made for the building. It is a building which stands out from the rest in many ways. Not only are the narrow and sharp corners designed in such a way so as to allow for different perceptions of the building, but, with its strong geometries and sharp modulations, the building effectively reflects the terminological values of its environment.
